Info needed on Rebel heart - Corrs

I’ve rediscovered some melodies after i’ve begun playing (i call it playing, most of you would probably still call it squeeking or making noise) the whistle.

This is one of them, and as i’m not yet able to tell by ear which key a song is played in, i’d be grateful if anyone on this forum could help me.

I think this song played by a low and a normal whistle only, would sound really great. But i need to know which key and how to finger it.

From the midi file i found, i notice the Db, F# and G# being played several times, if that helps. (The other notes didn’t have -b or -#, and D gets played a few times without -b too)

In advance, thank you for your help.

EDIT: I forgot to add… the low whistle would play the fiddle part.

After some reading on the net and changing keys in Cakewalk, i’ve reached the conclussion that the song is played in A major, can anyone confirm me on this?

Yes, that’s right. In A Major, played on a standard D whistle.

So, with my idea on playing it with two whistles only, would you recomend hi d + low d, hi d + a or a + low d? (The Fiddle part plays the normal C at some points when i change the program to show the sheet.. so i’m guessing hi d + a with the a whistle playing that part)
