Whistle Key Question

I have a recording of Matt MacIsaac playing Boys of the Lough. It’s track 8 on this CD, and there is a clip you can hear:

I’m trying to figure out what key his whistle is. He’s playing at least three sharps or flats, depending on how you call them – C#, A#, and F# (or Db, Bb, and Gb) are all present in the first bar (concert pitch, not fingerings).

F# – no wonder I couldn’t figure it out!

Thanks guys – now that I know what it is I can transpose it up a half step and figure it out on my G.

Oh, I get it. :laughing:

I was actually thinking of using Adobe Audition to transpose up a half step so my recording will sound in G instead of F#.
