My parents bought me an Overton A for my birthday
from Song of the Sea in Maine. My dad said that they also had a few tunable low Ds and a soprano F currently in stock. Their web address is http://www.songsea.com . I don’t mean to solicit, or anything, just thought someone might be interested.
Nice to see you posting, Karina.
Gee, I thought your Overton was a D; no wonder you can play it so well already!

I now have 2 Overtons. The other is a low D. ![]()
Well, Happy 18th to you girl!

Yeah, all you folks out there! Clear out the really good whistles from Song of the Sea before my annual jaunt. . .I do NOT need to spend any more money on WHISTLES.
Of course that doesn’t preclude me WANTING to spend money on whistles, but that’s another story.
I’m a personal fan of Song of the Sea, where they never seem to mind me plopping down for a few hours and playing this and that while Tyghre goes hiking. To date I’ve demoed whistles, dulcimers (lap and hammered) electronic pipes, practice chanter, lap harp and ocarinas.
Sounds like the GRM sessioneers had a good time!
Tyghress, they have a couple of Burke low-G’s with a new beak design that are just TO DIE FOR. If I wasn’t so tapped out when I was there a couple of weeks ago, I’d have brought one home.
