Hey Pat, Good to see you are still kicking. i need to get some of the Banjo tracks up on the string pages so people can here your mad skillz. you a humble bumble, But you gotz skillz! ![]()
Seriously you are my banjo hero. ![]()
You guy’s say the prettiest things ![]()
It’s all in good fun!!! ![]()
Patrick, you got the jimmie finger so bad now it’s even infected your avatar! Hope it doesn’t affect your playing. (Although maybe it helps…)
Absolutely lovely stuff - the kind of sound you achieve on those hornpipes is what has me hooked about ITM and the flute. It’s all there … the warmth, the subtlety, that handmade, innocent quality that knows nothing of the pretenses of big productions. I can’t wait to hear the rest of the tracks.
Let me just add my appreciation and admiration. Truly fine playing. Thanks for making those 3 tracks available. Enjoyed them all.
Cheers and best of luck with the release and going into the future.
Jason
Thanks you guys for the kind words.
I was able to get the link to purchase the CD if anyone is interested.
Im so glad that people are enjoying the tracks. It makes it all worth it ![]()
Wonderful music Josh… well done! I won’t be able to buy a copy any time soon, since I live in Sri Lanka, but I’m really enjoying the clips you posted for download, and the streaming from CDBaby. Thanks for sharing your music with us…
Peace,
Chris
I’m just listening now. Wonderful stuff; really, really nice, Josh! I love your take on the Hag’s Purse, the hornpipes are the coolest, and the Lark is just a joy. That D part’s a blast!
Congratulations, well-done, and all that good stuff. The love shows for sure.
Best,
cat.
P.S. Hell no I’m not going to let your old flute near this or it may try to pack itself up and run back home
… meanwhile your new one sounds grand!
P.P.S. It was me wot snagged your Mulcahys masterclass off there … I couldn’t help myself. ![]()
I’ve downloaded the tunes as well now. Very nice, I particularly enjoyed the hornpipes. Jolly good work Joshua.
As great as the hornpipe track is, the marches are even better. I blame Peter Brice for that. And the hidden track is best of all, thanks to Jimmy Eagan.
Excellent music! I can’t wait until I have money again to buy your CD now! ![]()
Edit: Wow, the hornpipes are NICE! The tone you get from that flute is amazing.
Greg Bacon has another one of the tracks on his blog: http://www.baconworks.com/archives/618
A little more googling and soon I won’t have to buy the CD … kidding ![]()
Oh, yeah, that’s one he has on his myspace page, I think. I love the first tune in that set especially!
What is the name of the second tune?
Also Bacon, if you click on Music, has music and midis
for some lovely tunes. Thanks for the link.

Anybody know the name of the second tune?
Inquiring minds…
Hey guys, That second tune Is know to me as Safe Home. I got it from the flute playing of Dave Sheridan. I am so glad you all like the CD. Just today I recieved an e-mail from CD baby saying that they were out of cd’s. ![]()
I am just so grateful I could put this thing together with some of my good friends down here in the Baltimore/D.C. area.
lol Dave.
The funny thing is that I am constantly telling my own drummer jokes since I came to the darkside of being a true musician.

To bad about the fife playing. You are such a kick ass player. Do you ever get the urge?
Aint that the truth
I did it to myself. The most important thing to me is that im sharing my music with other peeps ![]()
