What better way to Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day Weekend then experiencing the very best
in Irish Traditional music. All Ireland Uilleann Pipes Champion David Power brings his
dazzling gift of performance to Brookdale in an exclusive New Jersey engagement.
Beginning his study of the ancient instrument at age ten, David has won the Senior All-
Ireland Piping Championship and the coveted Oireachtas competition, and has toured
through Japan, Asia, Sardinia and Brittany, as well as the U.S. David will be joined on stage
by two special guests. David’s lifelong friend and legendary producer and performer,
Donal Clancy, who has recorded and performed with the Clancy Brothers, Danu, Solas, and
Eileen Ivers, to name a few, and another All-Ireland Champion and recording artist, Deirdre
Connolly, on vocals, tin whistle and bodhran. This concert should prove to be the perfect
centerpiece of a great month of celebrating Irish Heritage and Culture.

Did David Power ever release his CD? I remember people talking about it being made, but I don’t recall ever seeing any info on when this would be available.

Still in progress but soon.

A friendly reminder ..This weekend. My humble opinion is that all pipers should see and hear David’ playing. It combines a strong sense of tradition with a unique individual style. His jokes arent that bad either…so get yer arses to the show!

and you can see and learn from David at The Great Northern Irish Pipers’ Club Tionol 2005, May 21/22nd:

I tried the Claddagh site and couldn’t find it. I take it is a very new release???

Good man yourself Tommy!

Yes it is Fel… just about the newest

Congrats to David on the CD’s release! Now… go place your orders

PD.

David has a bunch arriving at his place very shortly. Get it directly from the artist and he can even sign it for you.

I’ll be waiting for promo copies to turn up on eBAY (please, don’t say anything to David about this!)

How are you finding this on Claddagh’s site? Nothing is coming up for me. Are there no N.American distributors?

Joe, what is that small furry thing you are stomping on? :astonished:

djm

He’s just rubbing the red ants off his ankle!

Do this or just send Claddagh an email at claddagh@crl.ie

PD.

I’d be happy to get it from the artisit if he has a web site with some way of getting a secure international payment to him. It makes more sense to sell on the web via a retailer who is already set up for this sort of thing.

djm

Getting it from David is your best bet. Once he has them, he will let us know how we can get them.

… neither, I really had to 'GO, in the worst way.

It’s a great C.D. he’s coming out with. Mighty piping unadulterated by backup. There’s a pre-release copy that will never end up on ebay. Yes, David the painting is on its way. Yours too Joseph. Soon.

Very groovy! I have a ‘sample’ package of various cane all ready to go… just need a snail mail address now…

I hope David brings a bunch of CDs to the GNIPC Tionol (hint) May 21st and 22nd. I’m gonna bring some ‘mad money’.

I’m with you on that one!

Will you be attending the GNIPC Tionol Larry?
