I put the boxwood Goulding flute up for sale on eBay.

Here’s a link to the listing. The pictures may take a while to load if you have a slow connection.

Almost makes me cry… someday…

Anyway, what is the silver thing in the case?

Thanks,
Tony

It’s a humidifier.

Oh… my… Gorgeous… :boggle:

I am weeping Jessie. Luckely I sent back all those boxwood flutes I had to try out. Otherwise I think I would have gone ahead and kept one of them because it sounded so good and the boxwood looked so beautiful. Well I hope it finds as good a home as it is leaving.

Tom

beautiful flute.

Dang it, some other guy just won the Powerball Lottery! So much for my chance at getting this flute!

Seriously, it’s a good thing I’m already sitting down, because just looking at that thing would make me weak in the knees. Some day!!

:sniffle:

Steven

What kind? Where might I find one?

Thanks,
Tony

It’s a little cannister with a hard foam inside. You take off the holes-covered top and put water in the foam, then cover it and return it to the case. Hmm, perhaps someone else can answer where to find one. Peter Noy stuck in the case (which he provided) when he did the overhaul.

Hey, if someone who participates on the wooden flute list is not planning to bid on this auction, could you please mention it to the list? Thanks.

Somebody did (not me).

Oh, good.

I did. I guess I should have said something…

Cheers,
Tony

I don’t think you’d say “Oh, good!” if you could see how the conversation is going on the woodenflute list.

Typical.

Stuart

That wasn’t me either. No huge deal; somebody said he thinks $550 was too much to pay for the repairs.
