Instruments for sale - Last 24 hours on ebay

Hello.

I have a bunch of instruments (Copeland, Overton, and Silkstone whistles, Ralph Sweet flutes, a CHRIS WILKES flute, etc.), up for sale on ebay. Here’s a link to the site that has a list of the auctions…

Yup, I’m still alive.

Indeed you are. Don’t be mad, just come back and be part of the community.

Nice collection of flutes and whistles for sale.

Expecially the Wilkes flute–classy indeed if you want the small-holed Rudall variety.

How many flutes do you have?

That’s one beautiful, albeit conspicuous, flute. Is it the lighting that has produced the small fissure coming out of the right side of the embouchure hole?

Yes, Shoner. It is absolutely the lighting. The flute is in perfect condition.

G, quite a few. And you?

Well Jessie:

Just a few, as I don’t want to go overboard in neglecting good flutes.

Here’s my small collection:

  1. Copeland low D
  2. Copeland low F
  3. KILLER Rudall 8-key (#5384) with both Patent and Wilkes heads
  4. Seery Polymer–my biz travel flute
  5. Imminent: Olwell low Bb, should arrive in a couple of weeks
  6. Waiting on 6-key Peter Noy contemporary design with Amber blowedge (6 months or so).
  7. Couple of years to wait for Olwell 6-key.

That’s it! As you might recall, I gave up my Olwell keyless when I got the Rudall.

You?

Why are you selling the Wilkes flute?

It’s a new flute or an old one, played not so much? Thanks

p.s. have you got any sound file of this flute? You know, just a simple 2 octave scale, or sth like that.

I am selling the Wilkes flute because I prefer larger holes.

It is bascially a new flute. I got it new this year from Chris.

I do not have a sound sample. I know, also, that I cannot bring out the character of this flute properly. Pat O’Gorman plays a Wilkes flute in the Cape Bretton style, and when I heard him play at Boxwood (Wooden flute week in Nova Scotia) in July, I was amazed. That’s when I decided to sell the flute. I’ve finally gotten around to listing it on eBay.

The auctions will end within a day.
