I have a bunch of instruments (Copeland, Overton, and Silkstone whistles, Ralph Sweet flutes, a CHRIS WILKES flute, etc.), up for sale on ebay. Here’s a link to the site that has a list of the auctions…
OK, Jessie, if you are not using THESE instruments, what ones do you use? Those are some might fine instruments you’re parting with. Or is it just a matter of housecleaning and rationalizing the inventory.
Same as it always was, my main whistle is an Abell d. As for flutes, lately I play several regularly: Olwell keyless Irish flutes (blackwood, boxwood, and bamboo), a Powell blackwood and silver concert flute, a Blessing silverplated student concert flute, and sometimes a Muramatsu silver concert flute with a David Wimberly headjoint.
I am raising/saving money for a low mortgage with my next house.
Jessie - I remember the wonderful pic you posted of your whistles (almost as good as that of your cat). If you have a Copeland Bflat that you’d like to find a new home for at any time, I’d certainly be interested. Best regards, Philo
Don’t worry, Brian. I am here now to let people see instruments for sale that they might want, not to bother you. You can go on feeling good in your Jessie-free world, knowing that you have added more crap to a life that is already quite difficult. Thanks.
PhilO, thanks for asking, and I do have a Copeland Bb, but I am going to keep it for now.
Chuck, that was, indeed, a mistake. I listed it just now, though, and here’s the link…
