Hornpipe?

Cillian Vallely’s “Timber” book has a hornpipe just called “Hornpipe”. Surely it has another name.

Here’s the first bit. Does anyone know what it’s called?

You’re welcome. IIRC at one time your question used to be quite a common one. But of course, it’s a long time since the publication of the book.

Interestingly enough, I have a 2-CD edition, also published in 2013. Would anyone happen to know what the difference is?

It might include a re-issue of a compilation of tracks from Fintan’s 2 early albums.

Thanks! I suspected as much, since the tutor itself seems to be complete, what with all the tracks and examples.
