So the Irish band I am in has been asked to be the featured guest at a local venue where quite a few hundred people come to see new bands and art on exhibit. This should be quite fun, we have quite a few songs and tunes lined up, Northstar and Ghost of Ballybrolly (Flook tunes) will be a good opener, a few reels (Masons apron etc), jigs and such then moving to the singing with Arthur McBride, the stardust song (a song written by christy moore that commemorates the innocent deaths of many children in Ireland), Windmills (a song Glenn Phillips and Nickel Creek play together), Streets of London etc.
It will be a grand concert I hope.
