I had completely put that out of my mind but now I’m going to be waiting for mailman every day. Maybe I’ll take my laptop and sit in the reception area for the next couple weeks.

Yea, and it came today just a few minutes ago. I played a few tunes and then had to put it away since I’m at work.

Actually Jack, I’ve been meaning to finish transfering the recordings from East Durham in time for Christmas, but the impending nuptials and corporate infighting have kept me more than occupied.
Stuart, yeah, Pratten style with an additional Eb body. For the D body I asked to the slightly flatten the surface on the lower three finger holes. A friend has one like that and I like it a great deal, allthough mine is not as pronounced as my friend’s.

Thanks! It still has the new flute smell. The hard part is going to be only playing it for an hour a night the first week per his recommendations.
Of course, I need to play the Eb body an hour also to keep the wood balanced. 
Tonights also the peak of the Geminids meteor show. I’d like to find time to lay out in the backyard tonight if I can.
Actually, in all seriousness, you should probably do 30 minutes with each body. The most likely part to crack is the head/barrel.

That’s what I ended up doing, I also had a lot of work to do tonight, so much as I wanted to I only put in an hour of playing.

I ordered it I think in either Jan or Feb of last year. He said it was a done a little early because he just happened to have some pieces of the right size ready.
Thanks Mary, I’ll bring it along Wed although I’ll have to take care to only play it for an hour.

Good thing I didn’t get my immunizations shots the day of a session, the arm that got the tetnus shot hurts like a SOB a few hours afterwards, doubt I could play the flute today to save my life.
