Since adopting Sasha (see http://chiffboard.mati.ca/viewtopic.php?t=30157 ) I’ve realized it would be nice to have a place like C&F to discuss “doggie stuff.” Does anyone know a good message board that is frienly towards dog newbies? One of the great things about C&F is that the people who have been playing for years and have 20 gazillion posts are still encouraging to the newbies who are asking things like where can they get a whistle. I want a place like that for dog lovers!
rottweiler.net is very welcoming to folks wanting to know more about raising and training dogs. It’s predominantly for rottweller owners, but they have a lot of good info.
I haven’t been on their message boards. A quick look shows a good level of activity–often a good sign. They post a new cutie-pie pic and a story every day.
