FS: Reyburn, O'Brien whistles [Sold}

Both whistles have been sold. Thanks for your interest.

Over the past couple of years I’ve been experimenting with various whistles trying to find the ones that work best for me. Think I’ve pretty much settled (at least for the time being) and so have been selling some of the “extras” I’ve accumulated in my learning process. Now I’m down to the “reluctant” sales – whistles that are really nice but I’m not playing enough to justify keeping. The following are great whistles that deserve more use than they’re getting – although it wouldn’t break my heart if they didn’t sell.

Reyburn D/C Session set. $120 includes priority postage in US.
Delrin mouthpiece, brass bodies. Tunable. Per Mr. Reyburn’s web site, “Reyburn whistles are fairly loud, have a bit of chiff, a wisp of breath and have a full round somewhat complex tone.” The set is 5-6 years old. Very well cared for. Had lots of playing time but are in “excellent” to “like new” condition with no damage. Further information about these at Reyburn Whistles

O’Brien three-piece wooden Rover in D. Jerusalem Olivewood with Delrin mouthpiece. $110 includes priority postage in US.
Tunable. Recently inspected and tweaked by Mr. O’Brien. “Excellent” to “As new” condition. Includes bag and Mr. O’Brien’s excellent guarantee, “…for as long as you own your O’Brien whistle, you may return it for free repairs, refinishing or adjustments. This guarantee is transferable, should you ever sell or trade your O’Brien Whistle.” More information on these whistles at O’Brien whistles

All prices include Priority postage within the continental US. Postage to other locations at cost. Photos available on request. Contact via PM or directly to Steve [dot] Bliven [at] Comcast.net.

Best wishes.
