Well, I just got this from another member, but it just seems higher keys than about Low D aren’t my thing! It’s a nice whistle though-like new condition, plays well in tune (tunable too), nice rich tone (heavy brass construction), easy in the second octave too, and very responsive, probably due to a little narrower bore than Ronaldo used to use, and compared to some other wider bores I’ve played.
It’s seems a good compromise in timbre between the lows and highs though, and if I kept it, it would probably grow on me-as it appears to be doing now as I play it more! But still, around E and D seem to be my ears
“place” in keys for solo playing.
