New flutes from Marcus Hernon cost about $750 and there is currently a 6-month waiting list.
This flute has been played in and is in as new condition and just over 1 year old. As can be seen in the picture, this flute has Hernon’s unique shorter head, this makes it very well balanced and comfortable to play for extended periods. The extremely sturdy case is made from one solid piece of cherry wood, sawn in half and the recesses milled out.
