FS: 8 key blackwood Michael Grinter, finished late 2004, original model with plain, D-shaped rings. Projects very well, and is well in tune in three octaves. In like new condition. Baroque cross-fingerings and trills work very well.
I want my Grinter I want my Grinter I want my Grinter I want my Grinter I want my Grinter I want my Grinter I want my Grinter I want my Grinter I want my Grinter I want my Grinter I want my Grinter I want my Grinter I want my Grinter I want my Grinter I want my Grinter I want my Grinter I want my Grinter I want my Grinter…
It was supposed to be here in June which turned into September at the latest which has now turned into January '08, supposedly. It’s going to be a new-design model with 6 keys including a right-hand Bb touch instead of a left-hand one. This one Hugh’s got looks amazing too though…
Just to note that the Grinter 8 key hugh is selling is not
only seriously undercutting the competition pricewise
(e.g. it’s 400 dollars less than a new Holmes and McNaughton,
more than 800 less than a new grinter), it’s
in new condition.
I didn’t mean to imply that High’s Grinter isn’t good value- it’s an excellent flute and it is a very good price. It is essentially a new eight-key flute offered for less money than just about any other eight-key flute of comparable quality.
So, this excellent value, like new Grinter 8 key isn’t sold yet? I imagine there are some fluters out there right now, just trying to come up with workable plans to buy it, and others are wondering what they could sell to get it too!
By the way, Hugh is a straight shooter, and an excellent all around good-guy, and easy talk to, so…get yourself a like new flute and be happy-you know you’ve always wanted an 8 key!
