In order to fund the purchase of a new flute, I need to sell one of my violins. It is a very fine instrument for the price, and is sure to please anyone with a discerning ear. The violin was made by Xuan Tao Wang of Beijing in 2003. He is an independent luthier that has 3 additional workers in the shop with him. The workmanship on this instrument is superb, and it has a very balanced sound across all four strings. I had purchased two instruments originally from from Xuan Tao, and this is the one that jumped out at me as the best player. I recently had a new bridge made for it, and had the soundpost adjusted. Right now it is strung up with Dominant strings, and has a nice reedy sound with plenty of sustain and volume. I also will be including a really nice D style case, and a J. Lasalle Model 41 Pernambuco bow.
