FS: Copley blackwood flute with tuning slide

Blackwood keyless flute in D with tuning slide. Made by Dave Copley in 2003. I bought it used from Patrick (Doc) Jones (irishflutestore.com) about a year ago.

It has medium tone holes and the bore is somewhere between a Rudall and a Pratten (medium bore). It has a medium volume and a nice sound, and is really very well in tune. There are a few scratches on the surface, but nothing that really matters. I replaced the damaged cork of two of the three tenons with some thread (which is very common). It comes with a pistol case.
I’m selling it because i want a flute with more volume, for big sessions in noisy pubs, and also because i’d like to try other kinds of flutes.

I’m looking for about 500 euros + shipment. It’s not the first time i’m trying to sell this flute, and the price went down quite a bit.
Remember that the flute is in Europe (Italy) so europeans won’t have to pay extra money (20% of VAT i think) as it would happen if you bought it from USA.
If asked i’ll put a picture and a sound clip

Thanks,
Lorenzo

I can go down to 480 euros + shipment.
It will be on ebay in a few days if nobody gets it here.

Just a question… you found your Copley wasn’t loud enough?

I’ve played them and I have friend that has a keyed Copley as his go to flute.

Its quite loud.

Must be really noisy where you are.

What are you getting to replace it?
