FS Copeland & Schultz high D whistles

Hello list. I am selling off a couple of my whistles in order to purchase an upright bass. I figured I would offer them here before doing the auction site thing. Here is what I have:

Copeland High D, nickel silver, # 3413. Has the fingering hole on the underside for C natural. Excellent condition. $260.00 plus shipping

Glen Schultz Thin Weasel High D. Excellent condition. $375.00 plus shipping.

I’ll try to post pics, but if I can’t figure it out, I can certainly email to you.

Thanks for looking!

Hi Steve,

I think you are right about the cocobolo. I was looking for a blackwood. It should sell quickly as you price is very reasonable. Thanks and good luck with your sale.

Cyril

Cyril, if you are looking for a Thin Weasel, don’t wait for a blackwood whistle to appear. Go for it! Unless you react to cocobolo. I have both cocobolo and blackwood Thin Weasel high D’s and the sound is indistinguishable between the two. Some of the less dense woods may sound a shade mellower, like Pau Amarello for example, but the cocobolo is every bit as nice as the balckwood.

And I have no interest in this sale. I do not know fifer1781. Two good whistle here though.

Feadoggie

I agree-- go for the Cocobolo. It sounds every bit as good as Blackwood and is a lot more interesting to look at.

Is the Jaco style fretless fender jazz for sale to? Its a peach!!

Pending payment.
