Hi Folks,

It is with regret that I must sell my blackwood, keyless flute. I waited six months for this flute and it is a fantastic player. It is the flute you want for a session as it is LOUD and the embouchure extremely forgiving. It’s really a delight to play. I must sell b/c I’m currently raising funds for a new car (I’m even selling our second car, as we’re downsizing to one). Our car was demolished when someone crashed into us recently. Everyone is okay, thankfully, but my car is not:(

Anyway, it’s a Casey Burns Large-Holed Standard with tuning slide in blackwood, with silver rings. This is the model Casey replaced his Pratten model with. It’s characteristics are the same to a Pratten, but easier to play. What can be better than that! Links to pics are below. Anywhere from 1-6 keys can be added by Casey when you’re ready. I’m playing a Burns large hole slideless in mopane these days and can attest that these are great flutes–easy to play (easy on the fingers due to Casey’s ergonomic design), quite loud with a fat full tone that’s very in tune. This flute will make someone very happy who’s looking for these characteristics. I love mine.

Thank you for the kind words Jason. It is unfortunate that I must let this flute go as it’s a phenomenal flute, but I can’t get to work without a car:( On second thought, maybe I’ll just give up work:)
