I have a great Casey Burns flute for sale. It’s a small-holed ergonomic model in blackwood with 5 keys. The keys are: D#, short F, long F, G#, and Bflat with a right-hand touch. This flute is one of the best flutes I’ve played from Casey. The tone and intonation on all the notes is spot-on; the keys work really well. It is in nearly new condition. I’m selling it because I’m devoted to Casey’s standard model, and I don’t really need the keys. I also need the money more than this flute at this time.
It’s $1500 including shipping in the US. New these go for $3,350.
I’ve not played a Casey Burns flute with holes that small, they appear to be perhaps like the small-holed Rudall & Rose flutes. (The original R&R I used to play had medium holes.)
You get a great traditional tone out of it, I wouldn’t know it had small holes. The tone and tuning are great.
