Although I’ve loved playing this flute, I’ve come to the realization that my well-intended aspirations of learning the flute while at the same time keeping up with the cello (my primary instrument), and continuing to play whistles (mostly low whistle) is bound to result in the slow spiral of mediocrity on all of them, so I’ve decided, with regrets, that I need to give up the flute.
So, I’m letting go of a lovely CB Folk flute.
Bought in Sept 2004, immaculately cared for, oiled regularly, in pristine condition. I had Casey make this flute with the holes in line (rather than the ergonomic spacing), and it’s the “standard” version (vs. the “small-handed” type). So it’s closer in design to other flutes.
