For 9-11 charity: A new line of Chiff & Fipple stuff

I’ve made a new cafepress.com store, selling a new line of chiff & fipple shirts, caps, cups, etc. All proceeds (100% of the money that would normally come to chiff & fipple) will be donated to 9-11 related charities. There are many to choose from, and I’ve not chose yet. It will be one or more charities listed at http://www.helping.org

Feel free to take a look the store. Do know, however, that I have not yet seen how any of these new designs look on the actual products. So, let the buyer beware…knowing that he or she is contributing to a good cause.

Amen!

Dale, that’s really great! I sent all the money I made busking to the Red Cross, which really felt good.

Let it shine!

Well, so far the new store has generated almost zero interest. Is it something I said?

Dale

No Dale it isn’t something you said. I checked out the site and found the stuff really good looking.

But the Canadian peso right now has hit a new low against the US dollar.

Even a simple mug is out of the question.

Sorry

Mark

I am interested in some stuff but until I find a job it will have to wait :frowning:

Dale,
would it be feasable to include some whistles in the store?I’m thinking Sweetones or Gens with a C&F decal as a sort of limited edition type of thing. What do you reckon?A range of different coloured caps ,t-shirts etc might also stir up some added interest. Mike

Thanks for the feedback. It helps.

I’ve thought before how fun it would be to have a “chiff & fipple” whistle…sort of a souvenir type thing. Susato & Sweetones do come to mind. I couldn’t do it through cafepress.com, tho. That would be a bigger project.

Thanks to all of you!

Dale

Dale ~ I haven’t had a chance to browse thru the store and will do so…but…just wanted to mention that I for one had given a good size check to the Red Cross as well as donating to other funds and maybe some of the other folks have too. That maybe one of the reasons there hasn’t been a big response.

After looking over the mdse…I don’t know what I would want to order since I have 2 of the C&F original Tee’s and a mug. (I just bought 2 patriotic Tees). it seems to me that it’s going to take a lot of purchases for the $3 per item to add up to any significant amount. IMHO …a raffle like we had before would generate a much bigger response. Gm

Love one another…

Maybe you are right. From my experience with the last raffle–if we do it again I really have to keep it down to no more than four or five really nice items. The number of prizes, while inspiring, was logistically difficult.

I think limiting it to 4 or 5 nice items is a good idea…especially since I didn’t
even win 1 out of the many (haha) Gm

Got a C&F Kaki cap on order

Come on guys, it is such a small gesture for such a good cause

Thanks Dale

Peace

Hey, Dale!

Great idea. I do plan on getting one of the t-shirts eventually (the grey ones are very cool), but a contribution of more than $3.00 is pretty easy to make directly. Even if I don’t contribute this way, you’ve inspired me to do more. Thanks.

Tom

Oh! I didn’t realize some stuff has different colors. I might have to get a cap too then.
I tend to stay away from white stuff because it never stays white very long..

I’d love to get a C&F T-Shirt … but they have STILL done nothing about their shipping prices (despite assuring me they would be halved several months ago).

While the price of shipping takes a $16 shirt to $36, I’m afraid I’m not in the market.

Hey- I got my C&F shirt and mug today. The six hole pattern looks good on both.

Very cool.
