Well, if it isn’t Mr. McSherry himself?!?! Welcome. We need more of your type around here 
Are you and Michael (or you alone) planning on making it out to Boston one of these days? As I’m sure you know, Boston is basically “little-Ireland” and there are all sorts of folks who would be delighted to see you here. I’m sure a gig at the Burren would be no problem to set-up and would draw quite a crowd. There was a concert a month or so ago featuring Tommy Peoples (who lives here now), Seamus Connoly, Paddy Cronin, Tommy McCarthy, Danny Meehan, Laurel Martin and Larry Reynolds. The place was packed to the rafters and who should decide to drop in for the show but the gang from Altan, as well as Paddy Keenan and Peter Molloy (who works there and speaks highly of you), and a number of other fine musicians. It was a mighty concert and an even mightier session afterwards.
You really, really ought to think about coming out here for a visit this Summer. Boston is gorgeous during the summer and the music is superb.

As a proud owner of Clannad’s “Landmarks” album, I can say that “Of this Land” is one of the high points (and I’m not just saying this because I’m talking to you). Anto Drennan adds some very nice guitar and Maire’s voice is outstanding on this piece (no other girl can hit those low notes like that). Then there’s those whistles and pipes! 
By the way, I also like Altan, Steeleye Span, and Capercaillie, and many others besides.
Make yourself at home and take courage in the fact that you’re among fans and friends here!
