Flute maker/repairer in or near Donegal town

Hi all - we’re playing at the Pan Celtic in Donegal in a couple of weeks (OMG :boggle: :smiley:) and I was wondering if anyone knows of a good flute person in the town or immediate vicinity. The lapping cork on the top joint of my McGee GLP needs replacing and I thought this might be a good opportunity. I know I could probably do this myself, but I’m scared to mess it up.

BTW, in case you were thinking ‘…who’s this cheeky so and so - been playing flute less than a year and he’s appearing at Pan Celtic…!’ it ain’t so - I’m playing bass in a band - I’m a little more qualified on bass! :astonished:

You could check at Ward Music and see Paddy. If he can not he would know if there is someone in the area. The shop is by the square in the centre of town, the music store is street level and Paddy is on the second floor. Hope he can help.
