Hi, here seems the obvious place to ask. Looking for someone to do a cocus tenon repair (probably inserting a new tenon) and a general check over on my RC&C. For convenience, preferably in the North of England or Galway/Clare. Any offers?

Being a RC&C, you shoud be looking for a professional repair. There are three flute makers in Galway…

Thanks Lorenzo, I know. I’m just being lazy to avoid contacting a longer list one by one to see who has (a) time (b) inclination (c) cocus wood. It might be more easily fixed than I’m suggesting but you’re right, needs a professional opinion.

You might want to give John Dodd a jangle, as he’s an expert in antique flute repair. He’s in North Clare (Miltown I think).
