Fans of Harry Bradley

Hello

On Radio Na Gaeltachta tonight was excerpts from a concert featuring Harry Bradley and Paul O’Shaughnessy. There is the usual brilliant duet playing as well as amazing solo pieces.

Harry plays a set which included ‘The Sailor on the Rock’ (unlike McKenna though Harry didn’t break into any lilting whatsoever) followed by the Sailors Bonnet. Absolute magic.

Hi John,
I just downloaded Harry Bradley’s CD “As I Carelessly Did Stray” from Tradtunes.com
I originally was going to just buy the “good tunes” but the whole album is great! Strongly recommend it if you haven’t heard it.

Harry live is nothing like Harry on CD. I have had the privilege to hear him at the last few Chris Langan weekends, and have been blown away when he lets loose on stage. You can see the smoke coming off the stick!

Hey! Great burbling there, Harry. I heard lots of stuff I’m going to rip off.
Still you’re not a patch on McKenna’s jacket!
You people have heard John McKenna, right?
Stop buying flutes and listen!
Any more radio bits of Harry to be heard online?

Hello

Harry and Paul released a fine CD a couple of months ago called ‘Born for Sport’. I think it was reviewed somewhere else on the board.
If you enjoyed the tunes on the radio show you should definitely buy this CD.
