Selling due to aquisition of new Chieftain Alto G V3, which due to higher frequencies, competes better (ie. louder) in my local sessions, where the squeezebox player acts like a demented Sharon Shannon (but not as ‘fit’) on acid!
Also me any my guitarist can play in C, which stops a lot of ‘Bozos’ from joining in and spoiling slow airs
Will send recorded delivery to U.K. for £60 all-in, which is half of what it cost me from Hobgoblin, new.
Oh, and yes its in perfect concert pitch (after 20 seconds warmup).
I did hang off for a good while to give somebody else a shot. However, I do just want to have a try of all the sounds and feels available within a limited purse of course. For me, up here, buying and trying is the only way. If it’s not for me then somebody else down the line will get a chance. Must post a Syn low D for sale on that vein - it’s just not for me it would appear. My ability may grow in a way that would make it more accessible to me, perhaps, but not for now.
Managed to get some sound from the Tipple BTW Narrowdog. Now that is a challenge with zero first hand help - at least for me! I was breathless and dizzy for a week. Need to organise somebody reasonably local to give me a little instruction…
The Chieftain is a good whistle and at the
price you can’t go wrong
Keep up with the Tipple, the’re a great learning flute.
A teacher will make a huge differance for you.
