Thank you!
Thanks for posting that…good stuff. Does anyone have the ABC’s for the first of two “slow reels” about 13:00 minutes into the clip. Emer says “now back to a few of my tunes…two slow reels.” The first in particular is quite pretty. Does anyone have the ABC or sheet music for it?

Just another thanks for that link, djm. I’ve heard of Emer’s playing but never actually heard it. in a word, Brilliant!
I loved hearing her version of ‘dans en dro’ (sp?) - a Breton dance which is on Jean-Michel’s E Koad Nizan album (and written by J-M Veillon, evidently!). A gorgeous tune that I’ve been learning lately.
Cheers,
I recommend both of Emer Mayock’s solo flute CDs, with many of her own compositions.
Merry Bits of Timber (1st) and Playground (2nd). I believe she’s working on a 3rd.
You can buy from her directly or from Claddagh Records.
Don’t forget one of her tracks on “Wooden Flute Obsession” volume 2 (and sound sample at http://www.worldtrad.org/WFO2_CD2.htm
