Elora School of Traditional Music
For those of you who live in Southern Ontario, I want to put the word out about a new Irish & Scottish traditional music school that is starting this fall at the Elora Centre for the Arts (Elora is a picturesque village just north of Guelph, Ontario) Classes are on Thursday evenings, starting Sept. 25th, running for 10 weeks. For more details email aoife at robin.aggus@sympatico.ca. Please pass this information on to anyone you think might be interested! Classes being offered are: Irish Fiddle (beginner & intermediate) taught by Phil Elsworthy, Irish Mandolin (beginner) taught by Eva McCauley, Irish tinwhistle (beginner) & Bagpipes (Highland and Scottish smallpipes) taught by Robin Aggus, Irish Bodhran (beginner) taught by Les Starkey, and Celtic Keyboard Accompaniment (intermediate) taught by Irene Shelton.
