Tin Whistle - Summer School

Hey, Kids,
Does anyone have any recommendations or advice to impart
RE: summer school for whistle - either in the States or in Ireland? Several of the Irish schools haven’t got their websites up so if anyone has any personal experience with any of them other than the South Sligo and the Joe Mooney schools, I’d sure appreciate your input. Also, if someone knows of a great teacher who’ll be conducting an intensive class or workshop in the States I’d love to hear from you.
Thanks so much!
Lauri

You could try:

Kevin Krell

And Willie Clancy Summer School - http://www.setdancingnews.net/wcss/

I went in 2003 for Concertina, very fun.

Thanks, Kevin,
I’m going to be taking a workshop with Carmel at the Tionol in St. Louis in April - am looking forward to it.

Thanks! I’ve heard that the Willie Clancy School has turned into sort of a free-for-all. However, you apparently had a good experience there - what is your opinion of the instruction?
Thanks, again,
Lauraidh
