It don’t get much easier than this one… you can register if you want to (and get a little more functionality) but you don’t even have to. Just upload an image, and it spits back the tags that you need to include in your post to reference it.
I keep wondering, why do people make these free sites?

I wish there was something like this to host MP3s. I doubt there is, because the potential for copyright infringement would be big.

I dunno. PBase was free for a long time, too, but finally just got too big. I’m paying just $23 a year for 200MB of storage, though I have only managed to use 78MB at http://www.pbase.com/darwinian It’s a great site, and it’s easy to organize your photos for display–lots of options, too. The layout tools make it much better for me than posting them on my own site, even though I have virtually unlimited storage.
http://www.photobucket.com is the best place I’ve found so far. It’s got 100 Mb of storage for pictures and a lot of bandwidth plus you can direct link. All free.
I’ve finally gotten my own domain so I’ll hopefully start using it soon. I’ll post my own pics on my own site. Until then this looks good.

I told ya before, Photobucket is the one! 
Different functions. Photbucket is good for creating albums for others to see. It doesn’t resize images, though, so may have to do that depending on the resolution of the picature.
Imageshack is very good when you need a place to put a picture so you can use it in C&F like this:
Well actually you can resize on photobucket (kinda… it’s like make the image 75%, 50%, and 25% the size of the original). It kills the image quality, though, so taking that option may not be the best idea.
