Was just checking the whistles on Ebay from a maker that I have always loved. The key of the whistle is in A which I just don’t use very often. I mean, I get more use out of my B’s and D flat’s than the A’s (I know, it’s not your typical ITrad music). So I’m just calmly walking away. But man do I love that makers whistles and they are kind of tough to come by.
I’ve always wanted a soprano C from this maker as well. So if any one knows what I’m talking about, and has one to sell let me. Wink wink. That would just be irresistible!

I know what you are talking about. I have a C by this maker and it is in a category of its own. I just saw another one in A for sale by that maker in a differnet place. I would have bought one, but I am expecting a special A in the mail sometimes soon.
I’ll be curious how much it sells for. I just bought one a couple of days ago from Doc Jones.

In case anyone was wondering what I’m talking about, it’s those Xiao Chinese socket pipe whistles. I can’t get enough of them.

Yeah, it went for $138. Not bad, for a Sindt A. Somebody got a good deal. I’ve seen D Sindts go for $165,
