There was an auction on ebay that ended today. A whistle set from a VERY popular maker sold for more than 6 bills. I happen to have a set just like it. When I told my wife the result of the auction she told me I had better not even THINK about selling them even though I could make a profit of several hundred dollars.

The ones I’d have bought for 7 bills if I was sure I wouldn’t need that money later on

Well, 700 is about the upper limit on what I am willing to pay for a whistle set, even a rare one by a reputed maker 
I know what it was. Atleast I am guessing was it the O’Riordians?

I see that when I did a search on eBay UK for woodwind there were several tinwhistles available as well as teaching sets, its always worth visiting, as you never know what you will find!
That’s way out of my range! I thought you were talking about seven dollars!
