Dresden 1 key flute buy back

List ,
David Magoya sold a 1 key 19th century German anonymous boxwood Flute for me several years ago. At the time i wasn’t playing much 18th century music. Now however, I am and would love to buy back the Flute from whomever David sold it to. As it turns out he doesn’t have his records that far back. The Flute sounds nice and was marked " Dresden"
That said I am broadcasting this posting in the hopes of locating the purchaser. I am actually without a Flute, but would be willing to trade my Abell Whistles or do a cash exchange. Has anyone else sold an Instrument and lamented it?

Yes. I sold my Copley.

I’ve never sold an instrument, but I very quickly regretted giving pennywhistles to my neice and nephew (they were 5 and 7, respecively, at the time) because they didn’t even try to play them, they just stuck them in their mouths and made hideous noises with them. I eventually found myself trying to hide their presents from them.

Yes, I gave a whistle to a friend’s 7 year old son.
She had said he was musical and would love
to play a whistle. He stuck it in his mouth and
ran around the house blowing it as hard as
he could. Earsplitting. ‘Why did you give that to him!’
my friend moaned.

I sold a Fender Palomino guitar and have been kicking myself ever since.
