Dixon ebony flute for sale

I have a Tony Dixon wooden, 3 piece flute for sale. It’s made of black ebony with a conical bore, is in great shape and comes with a hard shell case.
The holes are small and it is great for small hands because there are no huge finger stretches (unlike some of the “pratten” style flutes). It is easy to fill with air. The Dixon is unlined so it has no tuning slide. The sound is moderate in volume and has a darker, mellower, more refined sound than some of the rougher sounding flutes.
Tony makes flutes and whistles of “good” quality at a reasonable price. New, this flute sells for 185 pounds which is about $298 U.S. In my humble opinion, this flute would be perfect for a relatively new player as a first Irish wooden flute or for an intermediate player who worries about taking a high end flute out in poor weather conditions (extreme cold or heat).
Original price: $298; asking $195. Buyer pays for shipping. PLEASE REPLY OFF THIS MESSAGE BOARD to:

I’d be tempted to give a wooden Dixon a try,but better not as I’m expecting a Copeland low D whistle soon, and have Uilleann pipes on order(just be pleased YOU don’t live next door! ).

Thanks for the warning, Kevin. The next time I’m in the U.K.,
I’ll give your area a wide berth  Let me assure you that the wooden Dixon has a mellow sound with moderate volume and certainly will not drive the neighbours away. Actually, it would be good in an apartment.
