on Ebay UK - it is a UK only auction though.
On Ebay US - US auction only or I would be tempted as I like both Ginsberg and Nigel Richards chanters

Tim Benson concert chanter:
Has anyone played one of these? There seems to be a few of them turning up on eBay recently.
Hi PJ
Given the location of the seller and the wording in the description, it looks like the seller is Tim Benson.
David
Actually you are both right! He is the Pipe maker and the seller. Look at “For Sale” at Pat’s UilleannObsession page. You can also hear samples of the chanter.

Sold for $492
The Tim Benson concert chanter sold for $850
I won both auctions (Benson and Ginsberg/Richards). Tim benson is going to fully key the chanter, so it will be 2 weeks or so before delivery. I’m looking forward to playing it…the sound files on his myspace site sound very good. I’ve never had the opportunity to hear a Ginsberg stick, but I already have a Nigel Richards BP chanter, which has exceptional tone and is very well behaved (I actually play it with a c.1830’s MacDougall BP).
I would consider having a go at the O’Mealy auction, but without better photos it looks pretty dicey. Over the last 6 years I’ve bought over 30 sets (and sold 28 of them) of vintage highland pipes, so I’m no stranger to identifying vintage highland pipes from bad photos and even worse descriptions, but I’m way out of my league doing the same with Uilleann pipes. ![]()
A practice set with a Chanter by Evan & Colgan (?)
David
This was recently on eBay. IIRC, the previous auction had the chanter listed as Ginsberg (but not the chanter top).
Probably 1970-early80s Ted Colgan, he used to make bits & pieces
