CP - Saint Chartier Festival, 15 - 18 July - Pipes for Sale

Hi All,

If anyone is planning on going to the Saint Chartier Festival in France later this month, or Lorient in August, I will have a few new Concert Pitch (D) Practice Sets and a couple of Half Sets for sale. All fully keyed, guaranteed and with good reeds. Some in Brass, some in Nickel Silver, Blackwood or Palo Santo. Also a couple of pre-owned chanters in C and B Flat which can be made into practice sets.

It would be nice to see any of you and have a few tunes, or just talk pipes and drink beer. (The beer is excellent!)

France seems to have changed a lot since the last time I was there, 25 years ago…

Michael, I have to agree with you on that one. The normal festival brew is Kronenbourg which tastes quite nasty and is only meant for the tourists. However Brendan Ring, who lives there, told us to only drink Grimbergen, which is stronger, much tastier and only slightly more expensive.
