Lots of piping at the Tønder Festival in Denmark this year. Liam O’Flynn, Mick O’Brien and Cillian Vallely (with Lunasa), and probably more.
Last weekend of August, it is usually a great festival, lots of musicians and the occasional session.

Wow, that’s a fun line-up. Lot’s of great Canadian acts there too - bound to be a woderful time. Great Big Sea is a hoot, BillHilly band (The Bills) is supposed to be an absolute riot! Wish I could be there 
Cillian on a Froment; Donnacha Goff (Danu) on a Froment. I don’t see Mick O’Brien on the list of artists.
He is not in the programme. He will be playing with the norwegian band, Vamp.
He was very interested in the Angus set, promised to give me a couple of hints on managing those loooong regs…
