CP - Commerical Post - Jubilee Music Instrument Co 3D-LowD

I have a completed functional 3D Generated Low Whistle head. It’s been named as part of the 3LD series (convenient name?, it’s a play on Low-D and 3D together for anyone who didn’t get it).

Unlike my other whistles, the beak in the back is curved - it has a nice feel to it.
The whistle kit will be available assembled or disassembled - there are 3 pieces to the head which makes the windway accessible for maximum tweakability (Is that a word?, maybe Jerry F knows).

I’m going to be selling these whistle heads for $18 + postage. To make a Low-D, you can use SDR21 3/4" PVC pipe at 515mm in length and make your own or the new 3LD Low-D whistle for $23 + postage. Alternatively, with some variant in tonehole spacing you can use the old school thick Schedule 40 3/4" PVC and it may then also serve as a minor weapon as well.

Also, the OpenScad code for this will be available in an upcoming book on 3D Low-D Whistles available on CreateSpace for a decent price. It will cover the details needed to make this including the tonehole tables.

Currently, I already have a few whistle making books now on createspace and I’m moving in the direction of writing about music instrument design, more to come: https://www.createspace.com/pub/simplesitesearch.search.do?sitesearch_query=Bingamon&sitesearch_type=STORE

More images to come.

Note: As time progresses, I’m planning on some books what will codify the instructions for making some of my unusual instruments such as the “Chromatic Whistle”, the “Basswhistle”. And some string instruments such as my wood “Nevel” (based on the biblical lyre), Cigar Box Guitar making and more.
