Greetings pipers,
I have a nice-playing half set of uilleann pipes by Ray Sloan for sale here at the shop.
It’s been listed for a while now…not a nibble.
Ted Anderson called me today (as a good friend should) and said my listing was a bit …ummm…intense. He thought that perhaps my threatening to sell off your firstborn to pay to get the set re-reeded if it was returned with the reeds all gorked up and unplayable because you’ve tweaked them to oblivion, may have put off some potential buyers.
As a result, I’ve re-written the listing to reflect the typical, easy-going, jolly, tooter-selling temperament you’ve become accustomed to in dealing with me over the years.
And I will give you the following guarantees:
- The set plays nicley in Californy (for Ted).
- The set plays nicely in Idaho (For me)
- If you buy the set and return it and it won’t play at all because you’ve fiddled with all the reeds and I have to get it re-reeded again, I won’t send Guido to break your kneecaps. I won’t even be cross.

Here’s the listing:

As always, flutes, whistles, pipes or other nice instruments are the same as cash. This is a good chance to get into a half set without mortgaging the farm. Go get 'em! ![]()
