Check “used instruments exchange”…
I read somewhere, I can’t remember where it was, that the “Coupla flutes” are really good. You don’t see them up for sale every day. When you do see them, they are usually offered in pairs, for some strange reason.
I actually believe he meant “cupola” flutes and just flipped the o.
Cupola flutes are designed specifically to be played under domes.
True story.
Actually, I’ve played both under a cupola, so I guess they ARE cupola flutes! Under cupolas is a great place to play, BTW - great acoustics!

Just don’t confuse those with copula flutes. The consequences can be dire.
FWIW - that’s an exceptional price on the 8 Key Blackwood M&E. Last time I looked, they sell for $850 on M&E’s website.
You should probably charge a premium, though, since it’s an extremely rare cupola version.

Actually, the cupolas are down to one - the M&E is already gone… As to the price, Michael gave me a great deal and I just passed it along. It’s actually returning to Ireland and less than 50 miles from its birthplace!
