*** Yep, time to pare down, spread the woodwind wealth. So I’m letting my local global music store sell my trusty backup. Check it out — it’s a beautiful instrument and wonderful holiday stocking stuffer! For any holiday! ***

This is not, incidentally, the very first Prime Copeland Ur-Flute I bought from Michael in 1977. Will NEVER part with that, too much me in that tube. But the for-sale flute above has been a wonderful on-deck instrument I’ve never needed, so someone else should enjoy it.

** Per forum policy, please do not reply to this on this CAF board. Just purchase it directly from the music store, Dillon Music of Woodbridge, New Jersey. Whose owner, Steve Dillon, is a direct descendant of the famous Civil War-era West Virginia fifer Quince Dillon, after whom the old-time tune “Quince Dillon’s High D Tune” is named. Small world!

Best Holiday Wishes,
L.E. McCullough

You might want to post this over on the Flute forum and on the Used Instrument Exchange.

I’ve played one of Michael’s flutes (sterling rings and slide) for a long time and won’t part with it. I’m basically a Philly boy at heart.

oh, great, thanks. Didn’t know how many forums could receive a post.

Yes, it was 33 years ago this month Michael presented me with my (and one of his) first wooden flutes.

It was truly a gift from on high.

And, no, I’ve never named her (the flute).

Best,
L.E.
