On similar lines to Rory Bellows recent topic on Geoff Wooff sets, who plays Cillian O Briain sets? I know that Blackie O Connell and Mick Coyne play O Briain sets but as a matter of interest, any body else out there play his or Galloway or Faden sets?
Gay McKeon, Seán McKeon, Con Durham, Blackie O’Connell, Mickey Dunne, Eoin Dillon (from Kíla), and Mick Coyne all play Ó Bríain sets. Ciarán Mac Fheilimidh was playing a Galloway set, but I don’t know if he still does.
I play a 3/4 set with Ó Bríain drones and a Galloway chanter. I have an Ó Bríain chanter as well but it’s not currently reeded up. (Michael Hubbert made the regulators.)
Conor McKeon and Alan Burton play Cillian O’Briain sets.
Allan Moller uses a Cillian O Briain chanter (with a Johnny Bourke which he sold.)

Because he makes only concert pitch sets your more inclined to see Cillian’s pipes being played out in sessions. There is loads of his sets here in the Kerry area.
