Did anyone catch the Chieftans on LN w/ David Letterman last night? Great performance, IMHO. Since they’re obviously in the US, does anyone know if they’re possibly on tour and know where a touring schedule could be found? Also, while we’re on the subject, does anyone know what happened to Martin Fay, the 2nd fiddler? He’s not mentioned on their current CD and he was not with them last night on Letterman.

Didn’t know anything about the new album either. I bet they are in NYC for St. Paddy’s Day.
I couldn’t beleive my eyes when I saw Paddy playing a low whistle of some sort. I thought he was “above” that. Anybody know what type it was?
Why must I be stuck in a city that has no musical plans for this coming St. Paddy’s? I’m really starting to get upset over this. Someone please send Lunsa to SW Va. now!
Yup… they’re in Boston this weekend. Peter (Molloy) told me his dad (and perhaps others) should be at the session this weekend.

I posted awile back after seeing the Chieftains here in Denver about Martin Fay not being with them, they had Natalie McMasters instead, no one seemed to know what happened to him.
As for the current Cd it is a compilation of things from past recordings
