Chieftain "Golds" have been SOLD

Hello everyone!

Below is a picture of my collection of Chieftain “Golds.” The collection includes: High D, High C, B Flat, Mezzo A, Low G, Low F, and a Low D.

The custom black walnut case was made for me by Larkwoodworks in Nova Scotia. It is un-finished (at this time) and lined with red felt. I was reading a thread by Phil Hardy which was posted on Tue Jan 10th where he said " I do recommend that if you see one of any key up for sale anywhere that you grab it." Well, this is your chance to do just that. I also have an additional Chieftain “Gold” High D to sell separately. I am considering selling this collection as I am now confining my playing to other instruments. These whistles were difficult to find, especially the Low G. I believe that there were not many of the Low G’s made. If any member of the Chiff and Fipple family is interested in this collection, please e-mail me. Additional pictures of the case can be e-mailed to you on request. I had considered putting this collection on Ebay but decided to offer it to the members of Chiff and Fipple first.

You will notice that there is a compartment on the left side of the case. I asked Larkwoodworks to utilize this unused space in the case for storing cleaning cloths or other small items. The asking price for the collection is $1600. The Chieftain “Gold” High D which I am selling separately is $175. The whistles are all in very good condition and play beautifully. I look forward to hearing from you.

I will leave this offer open to the members of Chiff and Fipple for 1 week before I list it on Ebay.

Shipping and insurance would be additional.

Thank you for looking.

James

THE WHISTLES HAVE NOW BEEN '“SOLD”

Thanks to everyone who inquired about these beautiful whistles!

Pictures are now available at the links on my original post above.

Thanks!

James

HI Jim,

The picture wants me to instal .net passport account. I make it a point to reverse and negate anything that the internet tries to impose on my machine. So I’ll just rely on your descriptions - which are ample

Not a criticism - just observation.

Sometimes a word can tell a thousand pictures

may I humbly suggest that the line,

“sometimes a word can tell a thousand pictures”

should, in this case, read;

sometimes a word can tell a thousand pixels?

Hello everyone

Thanks to some very good advice, the pictures are now posted above in my original post.

Thank you for looking.

James

Let me just vouch for James. I have bought several whistles from him in the past. He is very quick to send them, and all of them have been EXTREMELY well kept. Every single one I bought were just like new. Snatch these up, while you can!

I would second that.

For free, easy to use, picture hosting that allows hot-linking so you can put your pics on forums…

http://www.onfinite.com/

For this forum you need to use the “url code” of the pic, not the “img code”.

I third that . . .

Can also try photobucket.com or imageshack.us (my fave)

Thanks to all of you who have given me ideas about posting these pictures of my Chieftain “Golds” It was VERY much appreciated. Please go back to my original post and click on the links. You should now see pictures of the Chieftain “Golds” Set.
