I currently have a Dixon chanter in the shop, and I have to say it plays nicely, in tune all the way up to 3rd d and has a pleasant tone to it.
I have one in rosewood. It spent the last few months with a newbie. I got it back on the weekend. I played it last night for the first time in 4 months. I’m still impressed with how easy it is to play CJ’s chanters.
