Celtic "radio" on internet

If you’re all already listening to any of the 47 listed herehttp://www.live365.com/cgi-bin/directory.cgi?first=1&genre=celtic&charset=ISO-8859-1 while spending you’re long hours at your computers, I’ll feel so DUH.

Yeah, I imagine its mostly not classic ITM.
Are there more classic ITM options to be had on the internet?

There was a thread on this topic on The Session just last week or so. Try www.accuradio.com. They have a Celtic channel with sub-channels for trad, progressive, male or female artists, and if there’s someone on their play list you don’t care for you can block that particular artist. It works with Explorer but there’s a plug-in you can download from Accuradio’s homepage that lets it work with Firefox. HTH

Have you tried Raidió na Gaeltachta? Lots of trad music, if you don’t mind listening to Irish language news reports, poetry, and weather in between! Just don’t bother after 1:00 p.m. US-PDT unless you want to listen to (mostly) English rock music…that’s when they work on attracting a younger crowd.

Go to the link here:

And click on “Eist” to listen live.

Redwolf

Sorry, but I am not seeing “Eist” anywhere on the page you linked.

Works fine here in FF… “Eist” is a red rectangular rollover button, left side, just below RTE… Streams into RealPlayer, but whatcha gonna do.

Well, if you’ve got it defaulted to English, it may say “Listen Live.”

Redwolf

Nope. Found “Eist” with scottielvr’s help.

Thx,
