I was reading Phil Hardy’s post elswhere on the board where he ended by giving special thanks to Grannymouse. It struck me that there are some members of our C&F community who are especially dear to us for a variety of reasons. So if we ever get around to having an awards ceremony what awards should give and who would you nominate?
I nominate Loren for Informed Whistle Fireball.

Actually, if I earned any award, I imagine it would be titled something like “The Most Outspoken and Abrasive Award”. “Informed Whistle Fireball” is much cooler though
Seriously, we ought to consider having a yearly message board awards thing, “The First Annual Chiffy Awards” or something. We could do things like people’s Choice for favorite whistle maker, favorite on-line and walk-in shops, favorite whistle recording of the year, band of the year, plus a host of quirky awards for message board contributors. I’ve seems something similar on other message boards and it was great fun!
