I saw these pipes on E-bay (item 894855012) and I was wondering if anyone has any opinions regarding it. It is sort of hard to tell quality of an instrument from a photo, but it seems like the auction is being run by a store or distributer. Anyone know of this E-bay seller and their reputation. The reason I am intrested is that they seem to be a lot like Galician Pipes which is something I am looking for.

Your best bet to find out more is to try emailing the seller and asking them who made the set. Considering how few makers of these pipes are out there, I’m guessing they’re 3rd-world country made or they would have mentioned the maker’s name.
See if they’ll give you a money back guarantee if you purchase them. Get it in writing (not email or “I promise.”). That way if you end up with a pretty but useless paki set, you won’t get stuck with it.
